- Ensure effective supervision of vendor/
sub-contractor performance and other
related activities (telecommunications
equipment and monitoring)
- Ensure effective diesel delivery and
consumption within assigned cluster
- Facilitate resolution of community-related
issues
- Generate incidence report for network
outages, weekly and monthly reports of
cluster performance
- Provide support on all operational TXM
equipment and facilitate PAT of new
integrated BSS and TXM/ ADM network
elements
- Facilitate 99.5% network access
availability
- Ensure execution of routine and
corrective maintenance as scheduled for all
active and passive elements on site
- Operate and maintain access,
transmission and power elements to
achieve network availability
- Assist the Manager-Access Support in the
implementation of an effective framework
for the operation and maintenance of the
BSS
- Supervise change request implementation
and faults escalation and resolution and
ensure TTs are accurately closed within
MTTR by NOC
- Participate in acceptance of new BSS site,
MW, ADMs and power plants according to
scope and BoQ
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RECENT ETISALAT
JOBS JANUARY 22 2013
- BSC First Electrical/ Electronic Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering and/ or any other
relevant discipline
- At least two 2 years directly relevant post-
NYSC work experience in: GSM access/
transmission, Vsat, Multiplexers, SDH MW
links, Power systems
- Excellent problem solving, time
management skills with communication
skills
- Computer literate
